From the moment we met Kris & Tay we could tell how much love these two have for each other and how happy they made each other feel, and their wedding at the Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam was no different. It was fun, cheerful, and you can tell that there was lots of thought and planing put into it. The two smiled ear to ear all day long and what made it even better is the beautiful fall colours that provided a wonderful backdrop to this gorgeous autumn wedding. Congrats Kris and Taylor, thanks so much for sharing your day with us and we wish you all the best as you embark on your new adventure ❤ Venue: Vancouver Golf Club

Beautiful morning, beautiful people, beautiful ceremony & reception! We couldn't have asked for more on Baraa & Sinan's wedding day. We enjoyed spending some time with the lovely couple and their families and you can tell they both couldn't wait to see each other at the church and we were there to capture their lovely celebration ❤
Steveston village was the perfect backdrop for this lovely couple's e-session. We started early in the morning where Baraa & Sinan walked around this historical and magical gem and I'm not sure if it was the warm morning breeze or the smell of fresh coffee that got us giggling throughout the session. Balloons, bubbles and bright skies added to the fun of it all and by the end we were all tired form laughing so much and ended with a cup of tea and snacks at Blenz coffee. A perfect way to end the session ❤
From a beautiful Mehndi ceremony & a playful Pithi evening to an elegant Nikkah ceremony, Benish & Imran's wedding was full of great moments and lovely surprises.
We had the pleasure of spending two days with the lovely couple and their family, some of whom travelled from as far as Minnesota, Florida, Los Angeles, Wisconsin, Toronto, and India, so it was very important for them that we capture as many moments as possible. The first day began at Elk's Lodge in Port Coquitlam where the bride was adorned with beautiful Henna on both her hands and feet. The rest of the family followed and it was a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know everyone. Later in the evening was the Pithi ceremony which entails rubbing the bride and the groom with a paste made of chickpea flour, turmeric and other ingredients. It's a celebration of love and happiness for the couple involved. The night ended with several great dance performances from family members. The next day was the day of the Nikkah ceremony which was held at the Ismaili Centre in Burnaby. The bride and groom prepared themselves at two different locations but the groom picked the bride up after he negotiated with her bridesmaids (there were lots of negotiations throughout both days, most of which are very playful in nature.. pretty fun tradition for sure). Our journey with the couple ended at the Ismaili centre where the marriage ceremony took place. The couple & their families glowed with happiness and there were a few other traditions that were performed at the centre, including a fun competition between the bride and groom all of which contributed to a wonderful wedding that we'll never forget. Congrats to you Benish and Imran and thanks so much for sharing your day with us ❤ ❤ Rain didn't stop this beautiful couple from going through with their romantic shoot at Granville Island, and what fun we had! Sucheta is one of my dear friends and I was more than happy to hang out with her and Garry for a few hours snapping photos. It was challenging at times with the blowing wind and the torrential downpour, but Granville Island couldn't be more perfect since it offered a wide variety of backdrops from natural to urban. We got wet, but we did have a blast and these are some of the pictures we captured ❤
Do you find it hard to get a unique gift for your significant other on Valentine's day? Well, how about a romantic photo shoot? On Sunday Feb. 16th we'll be running a full day mini session photo event where you'll get to spend some one on one time with your loved one posing for my camera. These mini sessions are great because they're not too long, they're only 25 minutes, they're only $90, and you'll come out of the session with 20 edited hi res images. Few spaces are available so book now by emailing us at love2media(a)gmail.com ❤
Fall is my favorite time to photograph. The colors of the leaves and the beautiful sun make for a great combo and I really had a blast with the Cooper family as we hung out at Redwood Park in Surrey. A beautiful park with a cute little treehouse and a nice little playground for the young ones. Marnie, Coop and the girls were so much fun, even though little S. wanted to enjoy the park more than be in photos, but we did manage to get several cute snapshots of this munchkin and her photogenic older sister :)
It was a pleasure meeting the J. family today. They had a lovely backdrop that was used at the wedding of their daughter back in July and they wanted to take photos with it before they tear it down. We had a great time hanging out with this family and we shared lots of laughs. Here is a little preview :)
This weekend I met a wonderful couple and expecting parents of a lovely little girl that's due on September 15th. Reanne and Ryan posed in White Rock beach on a perfect day and the blue sky with the scattered clouds made for a wonderful backdrop. We took a few photos by the grass at first then we moved on to the beach then the pier which made for some awesome shots. It was so nice to photograph them both and we wish them the best of luck on their new adventure. Here are some of my favorites from that shoot.
